MarginNerve questions
What does MarginNerve calculate?
It estimates contribution profit from product revenue, retained shipping, discounts, refunds, taxes, duties, product costs and the operating-cost rules configured by the merchant.
Does it change store data?
No. MarginNerve uses read-only Shopify scopes and does not change orders, products, themes or storefront settings.
Why can a profit value be unknown?
Missing product costs or incomplete source data can make a profit estimate unreliable. MarginNerve shows confidence and missing-cost context rather than treating unknown costs as zero.
How are refunds handled?
Eligible refunds and payment transactions are synchronized from Shopify and reconciled into the affected order's contribution-profit result.
How do I change or cancel a plan?
Open Plan & settings in the app. Plan approval and billing are completed through Shopify.
